Terms of Service
Effective date: July 2, 2026
These terms govern your use of the wendy.dev website and the products and services of Wendy Labs Inc (“Wendy Labs”, “we”, “us”). By using our website or services, you agree to them.
Open-source software
WendyOS, the Wendy CLI, and related open-source projects are licensed under the Apache License 2.0. Your use of that software is governed by the license, not by these terms. The software is provided “as is”, without warranties or conditions of any kind, as described in the license.
Hardware purchases
Wendy Box and other hardware purchases are one-time transactions processed through our commerce provider. Prices are listed on the product page at the time of purchase. Hardware is intended for professional and development use; you are responsible for operating it safely and in compliance with the laws and regulations that apply to your deployment.
Acceptable use
You may not use our website or services to violate the law, infringe the rights of others, or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' devices. You are responsible for complying with export-control and sanctions laws that apply to your use of our software and hardware.
Safety-critical use
Our products are building blocks for physical systems. They are not certified for use in applications where failure could lead to death, personal injury, or severe damage unless you validate and certify the complete system yourself. You are solely responsible for the design, testing, and regulatory compliance of systems you build.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The website and services are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wendy Labs disclaims all implied warranties and will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the website or services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Content and trademarks
Website content is owned by Wendy Labs or its licensors. Wendy, WendyOS, and the Wendy logo are trademarks of Wendy Labs Inc. See our brand guidelines for permitted uses.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms from time to time and will note the effective date above. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Questions? Email contact@wendy.dev or write to Wendy Labs Inc, 2001 Union Street, San Francisco, CA 94123. See also our Privacy Policy.
